Where we put time and money.
The work outside the work. Lubbock's home and the company was built by veterans, so we try to point both at things that matter.
Mil2Mech.com
We built and host the web app that helps military aviation vets get their FAA A&P license.
22,000 military aviation mechanics separate every year. Only 1,500 ever get their FAA A&P license. The work qualifies them. The paperwork stops them. We built mil2mech.com to walk them through it. Free MOS lookup, eligibility checker, GI Bill reimbursement guide, FSDO templates. We pay to keep it online.
WHAT'S ON THE SITE
- MOS / AFSC / NEC lookup
- 18-month vs 30-month eligibility check
- GI Bill reimbursement walkthrough
- Letter templates, FSDO contacts

If you served on aircraft, you almost certainly already qualify. Find your rating, check the rule, follow the steps. We pay to keep this site online for any vet who needs it.
Taquache ×
Burkhart
We run the team's IT and help run the charity drive. 1,400 miles for autism education.
Year-round we do IT for Taquache Motorsports: network, comms, the systems that keep the team running. Race week we help run the charity drive: donation infrastructure, live race-progress feeds, pledge tracking. The 2026 NORRA Mexican 1000 runs April 30 to May 8. Every dollar pledged goes to the Burkhart Center for Autism Education & Research at Texas Tech, specifically the Transition Academy.
HOW THE DRIVE WORKS
- Pledge per mile or fixed donation
- Live race-progress feeds during race week
- 100% goes to the Burkhart Transition Academy
PLEDGE OR DONATE
torraracing.com / charity
Pick a pledge per mile or send a fixed amount. Either path lands at the Burkhart Center directly. We'd love to see the team carry your dollars across the finish line.
Hiring veterans first.
Standing preference for service members and veteran spouses on every open role we post. We hire who is qualified, and when two candidates are close, the veteran gets the offer.
Lubbock dollars stay local.
We bank with local Lubbock institutions, source from local distributors when comparable, and pick local nonprofits over national rollups when sponsoring.
Free work for the right cause.
We donate IT and security work to a small number of West Texas nonprofits each year. Quiet work, no press releases.
We pay for it
with the day job.
Free IT Blueprint Assessment. The work that funds the rest of this.
