This is the bottom rung, and we will not pretend otherwise. Most of the job is grunt work: unboxing and labeling equipment, hauling computers in and out, wiping and staging old machines, keeping the shop clean, and carrying things on service calls.
You never work a customer's problem alone; a tech is with you. In exchange for the grunt work, we teach you IT. How a computer gets set up the right way, how an office network is laid out, and how we fix things for customers without making a mess. Pay is $9 an hour. Part-time, in person, in Lubbock.
If you want to learn IT and you are willing to start at the bottom, this is how you get in the door.
